Our outreach community organization has been an integral part of Holy Cross since the inception of the parish in 2004.
Our ministry is to assist those people in need who reside within the communities of Lake Stevens and Granite Falls.
Those needs may include utility assistance, food, or some other form of help.
Often, the most valuable service is provided by the many volunteers who give of time to listen and support those who feel that they are alone.
Many of these people just need someone to give them loving attention by listening and not judging.
Loss of hope and loneliness are very real and difficult problems to help.
Yet God calls us to relieve spiritual hunger as well as the physical one.

1. Who do we serve? The Outreach program serves anyone who needs our help in the Lake Stevens and Granite Falls area.
2. What is the main purpose of the Outreach Program? The outreach program is not actually a food bank. While we provide each client with a bag of food to get by for a few days, our primary task is to help the poor in this area who need aid in paying their utility and rent bills.
3. What does my contribution go towards? Your contributions are directed completely to the needs of our clients; bags of food and helping pay utilities for our clients
4. How do I get involved with helping out? If you wish to be a volunteer with the Outreach program, please contact the Holy Cross parish office at 360-691-2636. If you would like to help, we have provided a list items that we can use. Please bring them during our operating hours, but if you cannot reach us at that time, you may deliver them to the office or drop off after one of the masses. We thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.
Items to Donate: Canned meat, Canned veggies, beans/chili, macaroni & cheese, toiletries, soup, meals in a box (Hamburger helper etc), tomato sauce/paste, canned tomatoes, spaghetti, noodles, cereal/oatmeal, bread in small quantities, food gift cards that staff can use to buy food and other supplies.
Items NOT to Donate: Already open or used items, Leftovers, Raw meats and Dairy products Products that need refrigeration prior to opening.
