As of March 2025 the PFAC replaces all three individual parish Pastoral Councils as part of the Partners in the Gospel process. This is a group of parishioners from each parish who are volunteering their time over the next few years to consult with parish leadership and engage parishioners.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finance Councils will remain separate until the end of the process in 2027.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Parish Finance Council assists the pastor in the administration of parish temporal matters.\u00a0 An active, well-formed Parish Finance Council is a key element for promoting the financial health of a parish, assuring accountability and assisting the pastor with his temporal responsibilities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PARTNERS IN THE GOSPEL NOTE: Finance Councils remain separate for each parish until the final steps in combining parishes canonically is complete in mid-2027.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
